The Thin Red Masterpiece

The Thin Red Line. Terence Malick. This stone cold moviepoetry has what it needs to go straight to the heart. Not with a bullet. But with a sense of what is and what not is in war. Some people call the movie without a plot/purpose/idea/goal, sounds pretty much the same as war to me. At the beginning its pretty clear why you start it, but in the end, after all the deaths, its all worthless. This movie could be the best thing you ever see about war. (1998)
