Stargazing.

Stardust. Matthew Vaughn. Someone is going to have to explain to me why this movie was not appreciated. I think that if people eat 7 episodes of Potter-potty movies, they should be ready to watch something that is better than all of that potter-poo. I think the humor was clever, the story was original, the acting was decent and that the directing is strong. I forgive the director for loosing some focus, but knowing the writer Gaiman and being familiar with some of his books, there is a lot he wanted to get in there. I think the effort was great and the director is forgiven for some minor mistakes, the fun was there nonetheless and it was much better than the childish Potter fantasy. (personal note: Matthew Vaughn it still on the keep-an-eye-on list) (2007)
