Limited Limitless.

Limitless. Neil Burger. Starts promising, has visual strengths but all in all it falls short. Cooper and De Niro try to head it off, but it the fight never really hits it off. Perhaps the lack of a strong script or a more gritty management by a producer kept it from shining as a starmovie. I think you can watch it and be amused and wonder in excitement at what the movie could have been. It felt at many times as a music trailer combination between ‘Requiem of a dream’ and some videoclip with loud music about kids with talents and problems. I think the funniest thing about this movie is that this drug is something that everybody would want to take regardless of its side effects. Perhaps the director should have taken it to make the movie just that much better… (2011)
