A true great.

The general. Buster Keaton/Clyde Bruckman. I have a weakness for Buster Keaton. The first Keaton movie I saw was The Railrodder on TV and I had no idea who he was. However during my teens they showed a lot of movies from the early movie era on Belgium TV and slowly but surely I saw more and more. I laughed harder with Charlie Chaplin, but I was exposed to better movies while watching Keaton films. The general is perhaps his masterpiece. It is not a movie that is funny but just plain good. I suggest to watch it and see someone who was not only funny but understood movie making thoroughly. (1927)
